I hate when boomers talk about how everything is “woke” these days, but man this one feels like the author wanted to be TOO woke. We got a POC best friend (who also speaks Arabic), we got asking for consent, we got the whole “mental health is important”, we got MC being adopted… idek what else. And I agree with everything but this was *too* much. And also, who talks like that?
