I must say, I expected better of Taliesin. Merlin asks him how it is that this miraculous spring has cured his madness, and instead of replying with something beautiful and poetic, Taliesin goes off into this long encyclopedic listing of all the springs, lakes, and waters of the world that have special properties of any sort. Really, Geoffrey? Haha
