I get really excited to read this every night! I do actually really like it, and appreciate the time she took to create Jean as a character. I will say, it feels more sci-fi drama than true sci-fi, and I would understand people not liking it for that reason. Personally, though, thats my favorite genre. I love a good sci-fi drama. Also, the book’s explanation for the shortcuts feels very strange.
