It's still excellently written, but I admit the narrative is stagnating somewhat. I'm hoping it's just a brief lull though.

Not much to say far other than that I'm loving it, wow. Certainly dark, but still, such lush yet carefully chosen descriptions means Buehlman can create a sense of place and character and time with a carefully crafted sentence or two. Really, really enjoying it.
