Just finished the ‘Mortal Canvas’ short story. I think it’s my fav so far - so much beautiful contemplation on art and death - 2 things I am always drawn to.

I’ve noticed that love and romantic relationships are sub-plots or undercurrents in so many of the short stories. Tbh I’m not keen on how frequently they appear.

So far most of the characters are mildly to moderately unlikeable. It makes for an interesting read.
