Finished book 1, now onto book 2. Really loving this so far. The plot is playing out fairly differently to the 2019 movie so it still feels fresh, the characters are all so fleshed out and interesting. I remember when I watched the movie for the first time Meg and Beth felt the least developed to me, but in the book they on par with Jo and Amy. I’m excited to see what differences there are going forward.

glad to know that people have been hating on the poms for at least the past 150 years
