To piggyback off of a previous progress update mentioning the sexism in this book: "Okay, so there's something great about being able to control a woman (no man can hope to do that in real life!). In the case of Lara Croft, her gender doesn't matter for gameplay (the game doesn't require a female protagonist), but she's certainly more fun to watch." YIIIIIIKES.

The content itself is super interesting. But by golly is the writing outdated and sexist. The player is always a man. The protagonist of any video game is a man. Oh, and this line: "For instance, a character will react very differently to a sexy woman thief who poses a limited physical threat to him than a battle-scarred barbarian who is frothing at the mouth". Hmm.
