I'm confused. Why write a boring character so boring that the mmc calls her plain and rigid repeatedly?? How is this supposed to be engaging?? And so disrespectful to previous characterization. Also I'm mad because I loved her in the other books and the author made her so frigid and prudish in this but she's fucking SCOTTISH make it make sense
