i'm really enjoying this book but it will likely receive a low 4 rating due to a few things. some sentences feel repetitive. "the clubbers wore club attire."

when a character asks a question it ends with a period instead of a question mark. "they are always the best, they do something to you, right."

The author does a lot of telling, not showing.
