Eragon was hunting in the forest and found a shiny, green jem that looked like it had value. He meets a trader and asks for it's price, and he is told that it could be valuable, but it's hollow. Later he cracks open the jem and finds a dragon inside of it. He raises it for a few weeks then finds out her name,Saphira. Eragon is very demanding and stubborn. I predict that Eragon will get hurt again while riding Saphira

As I predicted, Saphira did end up getting hurt. Eragon has adapted to his surrondings, becoming less self-centered and began caring more about Saphira. Brom ends up sacrificing himself for Eragon and Saphira, but I don't really cared that he died. We meet new characters, Arya, who is a very important elf that Eragon, Saphira, and new character, Murtagh, rescue.I predict that Arya and Eragon will become friends.
