Was truly intrigued by the way that the first essay, Thirteen Ways of Looking at the Weather. 1. I also use to think that the weather was trying to tell me things about what is going on and 2. I loved the quote “For an unspoken code exists in cold landscapes - silent watchfulness for acts of stupidity by uninitiated, followed by begrudging helpfulness once the forces of weather have outstripped arrogance.”
