I just finished Apollo's Angels: A History of Ballet and gave it 4 stars. I had purchased this book some 5 or 6 years ago while my daughter was in ballet. She stopped dancing about a year after I bought this book. I learned tons and it interesting to read about origins. While my primary art form/knowledge is in and around Jazz, I empathize with he author in her feelings regarding the future.
