coming back to life after 2 weeks in canada (not related to the book, this is just about me, literally came back from canada yesterday)

im having a hard time understanding some phrases and sentences. the translator i gave up on, doesnt help. im wondering if this book is just so very american or if it actually is just that infamous bad writing

i have no idea if the way nicky speaks is so very american or he just cant speak english like a normal person, maybe its neither of those but it pisses me off, learn to use past tense maybe???

all those conditions of andrews parole are only now clear to me as i am reading it in english. how bad then fucked up with the polish translation, it never fails to amaze me
