As a matter of fact, the passage tombs of the Boyne River were not active from the second half of the third millennium BC onwards, so Newgrange and the rest of the monuments in this Irish "Royal Valley of the Kings" would serve as temporary royal tombs only for the kings sacrificed at Avebury.

It's scary, but alot of this makes sense. Accurate? Not sure yet...

The Megalith Builders would explore the northern seas, discovering that the northernmost land above Carnac was the Orkney Isles, about a third of the way from the top of the Earth.

So, we're still in the realm of hypothesis still, right?

This hypothesis would provide an explanation for the exceptionally big pairs of rocks that were erected at the four entrances of the henge-the Swindon Stone, extant at the north entrance being another good example-since they would represent pairs of stars particularly bright at the four quarters of the Milky Way.

Key word here: hypothetically.

The function of this huge megalithic complex remains a mystery, although archaeologists speculate that it could have been the venue for the performance of a special ceremony, probably related to fertility and/or death-terms systematically used whenever the purpose is unknown.

Since we are only speculating, I'll reserve all judgement until the end...

We will start by proposing as a working hypothesis that the builders of one of the most extraordinary megalithic monuments, the Alignments of Carnac, could belong to a solar culture organized in a dozenor so kingdoms ruled by kings for a limited period of time according to a celestial cycle.

Okay, I'm with you...

We could say that this book is going to interpret the results of a very special archaeological excavation, one that does not dig in the soil but in the prehistoric strata where the memories of our megalithic ancestors remain stored: in our collective unconscious.

Well, color me curious...
