Jayson
Jayson is on page 151 of 163

Notes:
(1) The last 3 issues are standalone stories called "Cautionary Tales." Spawn's not really in them until the very end, and even then is pretty ancillary.
- The stories are fine, farfetched on the whole, and pretty skippable since they're not about Spawn.
(2) Medina's characters have sort of funhouse proportions.
- Not my cup of tea, but Miki's inks make it tolerable.

Notes:
(1) Well, Angela's gone. It's entirely Neil Gaiman's doing... he got her in the divorce. Shame, she was my favorite character.
(2) Issue #100 was well drawn, but also really flawed.
- The coloring muddies the action and the story's too perfunctory.
(3) McFarlane writes issue #101 solo. So the walls of text are back!
- Medina's art's fine, just noticeably not Capullo.

Notes:
(1) It's been four days since I last read "Spawn." That may not seem like a long time, but I've been hunkered down in Britney Spears Land most of the past week trying to read her memoir before it's due back at the library. I managed to finish a day early.
- This book continues directly from the last one, so hopefully I'll have remembered enough to make sense of this.
