Donny’s dad is a fucking piece of work.

AHHH!!! How the fuck is his so-far supportive mom letting his dad get away with demanding Donny’s word that he won’t see Dell again?!

Dell is well within his rights to feel frustrated, but he could’ve been less of a dick about it. Call it off, put it on hold if that’s what you need, but telling someone to ‘figure out your own shit’ when they’re clearly struggling is rather unkind. Also the shit is definitely about to hit the fan with this bridesmaid plotline.

Donny’s anxiety is really getting to me. Whew. 😔

Sometimes I feel like Dell doesn’t have enough compassion for what Donny is going through. He should know that it’s really hard to face the disappointed expectations of some of your closest family, even if he was lucky to have an accepting family himself. Being ‘disgusted’ that he was worried about Gala talking about them is a bit much.

Oof, now I’m super sad for Donny. He’s so stricken at finding out that Gala met his family.

I find it hilarious and sad that both Donny and Dell referred to the hikers as ‘women hikers’.

Donny’s mental gymnastics and the way he’s driven by the potential disapproval of his dad is kind of heartbreaking to read
