is this any good? I started even cowgirls get the blues and couldn't stand his writing style.

This is the third time I've picked up the book. Everytime I describe the characters, story line, and quirkinesses to someone, I get excited about it and pick it up again. The reason I keep putting it down is because it moves along so slowly. But... totally... read it! Maybe. I don't know. Do what you want. I do like his style for the most part. Maybe try B is for Beer to get into his style first since that one is short, sweet, and silly.
