Nash is in the hospital in serious condition. Naomi gets closer to Knox comforting him over his brother's injury. Waylay's first day of school is tomorrow and Naomi is ready for her to make friends and have a better life while learning. The town of Knockemout has really taken a liking to Naomi and wants her to succeed in raising Waylay.

Currently, Naomi takes Waylay on a shopping trip to the mall for school supplies and clothes. Accompanied by "viking" Knox, Naomi and Knox are separated from Waylay as she has fun in the arcade. Knox buys Vicky Secrets and a new phone for Naomi, but he still claims he doesn't like her other than sleeping with her. Will this grumpy sunshine couple find themselves finally confessing later?

Interesting and hilarious opening! I'm curious to see how Naomi handles this situation her twin sister Tina has left her with unannounced. Will Knox help Naomi during this crisis or will he abandon her with her new neice she just met to fend for themselves?
