Skimmed the reviews and I'm glad I'm not being a hard ass over this book. General consensus is that the 3 narrator's voices are interchangeable, they're unlikeable, and it's very hard to figure out who's mother is who. And way too many tired domestic thriller (I use the term thriller here very lightly) tropes. But i'm finishing this today just for my reading challenge. It's definitely going on my never again shelf!

I hate how the subplots are overtaking the main plot. I could care less about this affair subplot or the one where the wife leaves her abusive husband. Like what happened with the sons?

I would've finished this book sooner but I don't find 2 of the mothers likeable! Sawyer's mother is the worst of them
