An interesting book but I’m quite skeptical about many of the author’s conclusions and predictions. While I do agree that history is cyclical and to a large extent governed by generations’ reactions to previous generations’ behavior and values, I think the author does a lot of shoehorning and stereotyping to make his points. People are more variable than he gives them credit for and events less predictable.
