I loved the first 2 but it started losing me in book 3 and especially book 4 :/ haven't even tried to read this one yet because I'm scared I'll end up completely giving up on them. The writing just doesn't hit the same as the first couple

seriously. Hades and Persephone…chefs kiss (per usual). I liked 2 for sure, liked 3 more than I expected to (I was scared adding a 3rd into the perfection of Achilles and Patroclus but was pleasantly surprised!) and I liked 4 a lot too. But this one is just….really not it. I’m over 100 pages in now and I still cannot warm up to Aphrodite at all and don’t care much for Hephaestus, and I lowkey feel like nothing has happened. I need to just push through the rest of it fast and pray it grabs me more soon….I hope….

Good luck!! Fingers crossed it gets better lol and hopefully one day I'll build up the nerve to give it a shot
