I really like Kai and yes he’s able to make his own decision but I hate the feelings of him being set up for heartbreak knowing what Miller wants. I feel like she’s just not actually firm enough with boundaries or her flighty background isn’t solid enough for me to feel empathy for her. I don’t hate her character but the set up makes me feel like if she cares about them she shouldn’t be acting so nonchalant

Close to the mark where Miller leaves and it’s playing like Kai should ask her to stay but he’s been very open about wanting commitment so I don’t think it should come from him. Miller’s flightiness has been too dragged out because even to her she’s clearly not happy with leaving and imma be so mad if it results in Kai chasing
