How sweet! I have a dog and cat that hang out like these two.

They're not related but the little one has grown up looking upon the bigger female as his mother. They were joined at the hip for 13 years, lost the big girl last year:(

Oh I'm so very sorry for your loss :(. That's terrible. I lost a lab mix 3 years ago. I had her for 11 years. I was a mess. My cat was a mess until we adopted the dog we have now. It's amazing how they bond!

Pets can become like another member of the family. My dominant cat Tosca runs the household now, including me. Mo is a 'nancy boy' without his Bella to protect him.

we don't have kids so our two are definitely family. Maddie our dog runs the place. Our cat Jasper just bows to her lol!
