I don’t like how this book floats so much between reading like a young adult book to adult themes (very descriptive sex or killing scenes) to new-adult like topics and language, between the two and back to early-young adult language. It takes away from the story trying to get my brain into these different genres.

Some detailed <3 scenes for being a YA book! Am enjoying the “powerful female” character that isn’t shy or too timid to voice opinions.

I enjoy that the book picked up where the first one left off. I hate when sequels do so much background explaining!
