her brother sam was too sick to go to school so he had a teacher come to his house but that also means that sams mom has to stay home with sam and sams dad has to work overtime to get paid more since mom isn't working and they also found out they won't pay for callies hospital bill because she cuts herself and they do not pay for self harming.

She started cutting her hand and talking about the other "freaks" that live in her development. They pick on one girl because she isn't like the other girls. but callie stays to herself and counts the cars by color and writes it down but stays in the corner by the window that doesn't open.
