So far in Part 2 of the book, each chapter is a different time period. I am now in the middle of 2010-2011. I am really interested in this chapter because this is a time period that I remember pretty clearly and can make some connections throughout the chapter. I am also really interested in this chapter because the author meets Barack Obama! I wonder how the author feels in this moment?

So far, the author is explain what the FDIC does. Basically, the FDIC promotes the U.S financial system by insuring bank deposits. I am really liking this part of the book because I am really interested in what the FDIC does because I didn't know what the FDIC did before! I am really enjoying this book because it is filled with lot of information and I love to learn new things!

The author in is still explaining her life as a FDIC chairman, but in great detail. So far, I am really liking this book because it gives me a lot of information about the economic world that I didn't know about before. I am really interested in this book because I love to learn about money!

The author, Sheila Bair is explaining to the reader that she really likes her job and is explaining "a day in the life" of a FDIC chairman. I am really interested in this because I like learning about money. A connection I can make with the author is that my mom is an economic and finance professor at Nassau Community College, so I have some background with what the author is explaining in the book.

I am a little into Part 2 of the book and it is about the author's side of the story. So far she is introducing the reader on how she got started working as the FDIC chairman. She is explaining what it is like and how she got to were she is today! I think later in the book she will tell the reader more about "a day in the life of a FDIC chairman". I am really excited to keep on reading!

Just recently I have started Part 2 of the book. I think that the second part of the book will be about the authors side of the story and maybe how she was affected by the 2008 financial crisis. I really would like to learn about how troubling the 2008 financial crisis was in a little more detail.

So far in this book different kids are explaining their life stories and how they were impacted by the 2008 financial crisis. One of the stories that surprised me was Anna's story. This is because she lost her house in the 2008 financial crisis and I couldn't imagine my life without my house.
