I was a little bit hesitant to start the second book in this series as it doesn't really have any connection to the first and apart from the amazing writing, one of the biggest reasons I loved Solitaire was because of the main character. However I had absolutely nothing to worry about. Oseman's effortless writing makes the story flow so smoothly, every character has just the right amount of layers to keep you hooked.
