wild that a book labelled homosexual conceptualizes utopia as a state in which everyone is bisexual ... curious to read altman's afterword given that bisexuality is now mandated as "the most radical sexuality" in "queer" spaces exactly as he envisioned and this has done fuck all for those of us who are in fact actually 100% homosexual except exacerbate homophobia

every time i pick up this book again, im all "ah this is interesting why did i put this down lazy me" until altman makes some absolutely BONKERS statement like "lsd can make exclusive homosexuals stop repressing their suppressed heterosexuality" then i put it down again because ive blacked out from shock

"heterosexuality and homosexuality are not sharply defined categories but possibilities in us all" once again. bisexuals understand that your experience of sexual attraction to both sexes is not universal challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
