2/1/24 I didn’t realize that I have to know about five different languages, dead and alive, to read this book. It certainly hinders my understanding.
Heidegger writes that the idea of transcendence is rooted in Christian dogmatics. Maybe so, but it’s an idea that existed long before and well outside of Christianity.
I’m getting better at keeping ontical and ontological straight in my brain.
