Insightful, it’s basically a compact version of my 2 year Film Studies A-Level. Great read so far, I love the recaps at the end of each chapter. Also it explains different topics/ film structures etc by using examples in films, first introducing the film in a brief page or 2. Really enjoying this read.
Great examples, including ‘Paris, Texas’ - used to explain the melodrama genre. And so on.
