It’s the twentieth century and this is really picking up as it’s more and more familiar.

19th century and it’s starting to be a lot more familiar!

We’re to the 18th century and trans Atlantic slavery. Also a lot of Middle East/India stuff I never knew. I think modern thought is India was always conquered by Britain but they actually ruled an empire for A WHILE.

We’ve reached 844 AD. We covered murderous Empress Wu, war making Muhammad and start of Islam, and Charlemagne’s alliance with the pope. Everyone kills a lot, has a lot of sexual partners/marriages and I’m learning eunuchs had a lot of power and money no matter which empire they belonged to.

So many horrific ways to kill people.

This is really good already. It’s super challenging me anytime the author mentions something that might have inspired the writers of the Bible.
