On my reread I am realizing maybe why I don’t love this book as much as the others is because it feels like SJM is reusing a lot of Aelin at the end of TOG and the things she goes through/her thought process (but without the same plot buildup or character growth) and Bryce is just not Aelin

I know in my heart there’s no TOG connection but I’m still in denial
Also I really want there to be more with Prythian???? If that’s all we get I will be disappointed honestly
Lastly Bryce is bothering me a bit, I understand the Fae have a troubled past but her whole “they dug their grave thing” is bothering me
