Someone once told me that if I liked books with little action and beautiful writing, that I should check out Hemingway. Now that I'm actually reading this book, while that statement is true, I find that Hemingway's writing is actually very simplistic; it's tell, not show. I feel like he writes exactly the way our English teachers tell us not to write. Not that it's bad, I just thought it was interesting.
