This one has me intrigued. I've been wanting to try AJ Smith for some time, I just think I will start with The Black Guard as I've read a lot of great reviews for that 4 or 5 book series:) This one has more mixed reviews. Look forward to your thoughts:)

So here’s the deal with AJ Smith. He’s heavily influenced by Call of Cthulhu/ H.P Lovecraft. So it’s unsettling weird horror blended into his fantasy. It’s dark, brutal and sickening at times (Fletchers Obsidian Path or Mike Shels Iconoclasts). It’s NOT your standard fantasy.
I absolutely adore this stuff. Hahaha 😈
