I'm kinda disappointed with Erin as a character. I don't like her... and how she doesn't want to fight for what she wants. It feels like she doesn't actually love Sophia.

I figured Luke wanted to get with a PRINCE!!! I do find it interesting that he is already in the "ride or die" phase while Erin isn't even thinking of running away with Sophia. It's most likely because they are woken, and although Luke likes men...he still has the privilege of being born a man and can avoid certain consequences.

Also, Louis's parents ain't shit for forfeiting their own son because he liked men.

ANYWAY I trust no one.

Just nothing but misogyny, women upholding the misogyny out of fear of men.
The perceived "safety" over women pursing their own happiness as people is unfortunate....while men/boys do as they please.
Big yuck.

The men in this book already make me think that the women in this village experience nothing but violence. Also....Erin....please....you know what Sophia is trying to do....being all complicated.
