I find a lot of new books are too modern for historical romances. NEW AUTHORS need to do more homework, if writing HR.

This was NOT my favorites list lol. I agree with you.
I’ve found that with the few Merry Farmer books I have attempted too! And I agree, Shaz! The mass produced newer historicals all feel too modern to me as well!
