The first book was well written and had an engaging story. This book is a big disappointment. Suddenly he goes from struggling with his magic to becoming super-über-man, changing reality even miles away with a thought. Fixing all the problems with a flick of the wrist. I keep hoping his girlfriend gets killed off just so something might actually struggle with something. But he'd probably fix that too. Disappointing.
