The book feels about 100 pages too long. We don’t need to see every hiccup along the journey.

having second thoughts about this, but I'm committed to seeing it through to the end.

I don’t remember what led me to this book, but so far it is well-written and does a good job with worldbuilding and characters, engaging the reader straight away. I actually don’t want to read Imperium Lupi because I feel jealous of it. I haven’t had that feeling in a long time, not since before Felix (my first published novella) in 2010. I hope I’ve done just as well in my books.
