Just finished the first chapter. That was so frustrating for many reasons. The only time he felt hope, it was taken away from him. The second time he felt hope, they acted like it never even happened… already this is just crazy…

So far I’m ok with it. It’s been a while since I read a German book, but I’m here for it. It started off strong, so I’m excited to see where this leads to. Of course I know this is going to be a sad book, so I hope I understand everything to the fullest, because this is an actual, real experience. Someone went through this, and so I’m happy to learn something new
