I was reading that one of the big gripes of this book is how overly into each other the characters are. That's actually low key why I haven't read it yet. I really don't like characters who just like each other because they're attracted to them.

Yeah it's SUPER ANNOYING. Like I love a build up but no joke that is all their POVs have been. "Urgh she can't like ME but wait maybe she does."

Seriously that has all this book has been when like...the starting out lore is so cool?? You're a paladin and your god is dead?? Tell me MORE.
I haven't read it in days because it's so annoying haha. Time to go read my other T. Kingfisher book...or the other T. Kingfisher book.
