In Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes, there are muliptple myths in the story. One of the main characters in the book is Atlanta. When Atlanta was born, her father threw her out into the wilderness because he wanted to have an heir, which has to be a boy. Atlanta grows up in the woods and has a bear as a foster mom . What I loved about Atlanta was that she was determined. However, she is cold-hearted from being alone.
