I’m still waiting to understand or have K explain what in the world would lead him to cheat on our MC mere weeks after they went on a break. Clearly the communication wasn’t that great but there’s a special place in hell for anyone who decides to “move on” or chat with their partners siblings.

See, thinking like that makes it seem as if something happened TO Kyle, not that he was an active participant.
I’m assuming the author is from an older generation because this isn’t the first book I’ve read of hers where the language about certain situations seemed outdated.
We need more female characters that know how to set boundaries.
