Ok this book was a little disjointed, wandering between a travelogue and some attempts at ethnography. But I had to stop reading when this man started to make the argument that pre-menstrual syndrome and other disorders associated with the menstrual cycle were culturally bound (and therefore) lacking a biological basis.
