If I was the author, I would change the ending because that kind of ending is overused now-a-days. Instead of ending it there, I would've went on a little bit further to make a better, more full, finishing experience. What I would've done is to have a celebration between the four and Og, which then will have them converse a little. After that, I would make it end.
