The synopsis regards the book as ‚funny’ and yet at the very beginning we get to read a description of rape that no one had warned me about - not sure what’s funny about that. Then, when the protagonist is pregnant, instead of any discussion on whether the protagonist wants the baby (as the book had earlier stated she doesn’t), we get internal monologues of a dog……….
