i wonder how much my dislike of seraphina comes from her as an unreliable narrator and tess’s own trauma and disdain regarding her family… because it seems they have reconciled and honestly i do believe they never hated each other

josquin tending to a sick tess.. and they’re so funny and dynamic too… it’s a lovely balance of delightfully funny and serious themes in this book
