Shockingly, for this series, trigger warning necessary for sexual harassment right at the beginning of the story.
It’s made quite clear that a woman has to sleep with the boss to get the job. I REALLY don’t think the author treated this situation with any sensitivity or empathy. Our protagonist, Bailey Ruth, is upset but not outraged and empowered to get charges pressed against him.
