DNFing sadly :(((( Was excited because its an Ottawa author, but I am just not a dark academia fan. I also did not love the protag. Emory on her own would have been great, tbh, but having Baz's perspective just made her so much worse. Like, I can see how, if Emory got over herself and was truthful, her and Baz could solve the problem so much faster. But!! She's not doing that!! UGH

ALSO Im so DONE with books making up their own swear words. Especially because they say fuck and shit in this one?? Why make her say Tides instead of God??? It hurts me I need YA to STOP
