Hahaha, for sure! It was definitely like a trashy tv show for me. I got a little annoyed with the FMC. But after I finished Dark Fae, I got back to this and read more.
Yes! Trashy tv show that I can't stop listening to! But the plot is not bad either... I assume it's going to be more complex/developed in the future books too, and this one is more of an introduction to the characters and their dynamics...

Yeah I understand, it is frustrating... I am still hoping that she will get her "revenge" for the way they are treating her, and that there will be some groveling in the next books, once they learn more about her...

I never finished the last two. Maybe when you get there, I'll continue. I get so moody and I end up switching to something else.
I'll let you know when I'm at book 5 then. ๐
