On Chapter 7. Nothing entertaining here. Yet I value Doris K. Goodwin’s opinion, and am determined to read to the end. I witnessed President Johnson’s push for the Great Society and his Vietnam War decisions. Johnson handled the first with skill and the second with complete tone deaf misunderstanding. Goodwin explains why.
